Session 1. Book Exploring

Learned about the lifecycle of insect – from the eggs till the adulthood.

• Orchid mantis group hatching with an upside down position. Kin tried to turn the iPad as he thought we misplaced the iPad.
• Stick worm hatched from egg. The baby looked like frog initially.

Kin was abit shocked knowing that grasshopper can fly and sing.

Kin asked 2 questions:-

1. What insect has the longest life span?
   Cicada – 17 years
   Long-horned Beetle – 50 years
   Queen termite – 55 years
2. How far can a flea jump?
   • Flea is the jumping mad as he can jump 130 times longer than his body

Kin was very eager to goto the Town Park next to Puteri Mart to catch insects this weekend.
